Safety & Guidelines
Good trades start with clear expectations. Here's how our community stays reliable, transparent, and safe.
Verify identity
Look for the ID Verified badge before in-person trades.
Meet smart
Inspect goods in a safe public place during daylight before finalizing. For services at home, have someone else present.
Agree on offerings in writing
Confirm item condition, included accessories, pickup arrangements, service details and milestones, deadlines, and any cash amount, who pays it, and when, in the message center.
Keep chat on-platform
On-platform messages help us resolve disputes fairly.
Certify Work
Ensure you've asked for photos or samples of previous work before committing! Keep in mind some jobs may require licensing or permitting.
Three-strike policy
No-shows and unfinished trades earn strikes. Three means removal.
Built on Trust, Backed by Community
Trading goods and services with neighbors should feel reliable, transparent, and safe.
Fair Reviews
Offer multiple skills? Reviews apply only to the trade performed. For example, a mechanic performing an oil change won’t be rated on their piano lessons.
Credential Verification
No formal business license? Showcase your skills with photos of your finished work. Pros can verify licenses and IDs, while everyday creators let their portfolios do the talking.
Dispute Protection
Keep your chats and trade agreements inside our message center. If an issue arises, our team investigates using the on-platform agreement records.
Legal Terms & Liability
